This time, we introduce the skyful textile, which is inspired by the starry sky.

It is one of the most popular textiles in mina perhonen’s collection,
released in the summer of 2023 to commemorate the 10th anniversary of mina perhonen’s Matsumoto store.

The skyful skirt

Holding it in my hands, I was deeply moved.
The fully embroidered fabric, inspired by a starry night sky, is truly one-of-a-kind,
reflecting the passion of Mr. Minagawa and the skilled artisans.

The color I chose is light beige.
The blue base with yellow floral accents exudes a sense of happiness.
Light gently shines through the scattered small holes, creating a light and airy design.

Let’s take a look at the design

The skirt is designed to be long.

The scalloped hemline adds a cute touch.

There are pockets on both sides.

The waistband is made of silk material, making it comfortable to wear.

I paired it with a simple white T-shirt or blouse to highlight the elegance of the skirt.
With a lining, there is no concern about transparency, but the slightly sheer hem adds a fresh and airy feel, making it perfect for summer.
